Transformers the Movie

If you are anything like me - you love transformers, snarf, he-man and snake eyes from GI Joe. Maybe it's a generation thing...if you do love the nostalgic figures and cartoons that made life in the 80's sooo good - make sure you check out robot chicken on youtube for more clips. It's hilarious.

Anyway:

Check out the trailer for the new transformers movie (Michael Bay) here. It looks pretty dope but Megatron looks a little jacked up. He's got too many spikes going on.

Also if you're anything like me - you may be wondering who that blazin chick in that one scene is. Good thing we're friends, because here she is

Another shot with her and David Silver here.

If someone can hook me up that would be most excellent.

"I Can't Make the Meeting - I'm Going to the Park to Checkout Chicks!"

Ever wish you could...
- leave work to catch an afternoon movie
- meetup with your unemployed buddies going to the beach on a tuesday
- go for a snowboarding cypher on a Thursday?
- go outside and just "chill" for a few hours

But can't because you have a job? You may want to apply for a job @ Bestbuy.

It's called ROWE (Results-Oriented Work Environment.) It crushes everything that makes you hate the job you love. They're not the first to do it, but in this day and age, anything is possible.

Check out the Yahoo article here.

CNET's James Kim's Family Officially Missing - Update: James Kim Body Found...Deceased

Many of you may not know James - but many of you will probably go "oh yeaaa" when you throw CNET, mp3 players and great reviews next to that name.

While I'm sure things will be ok, everyday that goes by causes more concern. For those that are not aware, James Kim and his family (wife & 2 daughters) are MIA. They were last spotted in Portland by a Hotel clerk. That was almost 6 days ago.

Details
- 2005 SAAB Silver Station Wagon (Plates DOESF)
- A Missing persons report has been filed with the SFPD here
- SFPD info: 415-558-5508 (Biz hours) 415-553-1071 (After Hours)

Engadget has been updating their post here.

Everyone keep a look out and call SFPD if you find/hear anything.

Our thoughts are with their families.

UPDATE:
James Kim's body was found. He was pronounced dead at the scene. This is truly a sad story as his family is beautiful and I feel terrible for them. My prayers and wishes go out to them.

CNET, Engadget and other sites have been asked about donations for the family. As word of that comes around - I'll post here as well.

May his family live on. Again, prayers go out to the family and loved ones.

Updates Coming Soon...

Sorry everyone for the touch and go updates. I've been pretty busy with a handful of things. You'll all be glad to know that it's all good stuff and only a few not so good stuff.

I have some Thanksgiving stuff, more pics, a couple of stories and a few links to share.

Thanks for everyones patience...

Weddings and Getting Older

It sucks!!!!

I'm heading to a wedding tomorrow for a good college buddy. He's been on and off with his "to be" wife since high school. Their wedding is going to be at the Felicita Resort in Harrisburg, PA.

I mean wtf...Harrisburg Ji? Whatever.

But it's pretty nuts when you look around and you slowly see all your peoples dropping quicker then Jared's waist line. Happy for them sure, but whatever.

Sky Diving on 9/16

Going skydiving on the 16th...if you're interested lemme know!

I'll be flying with my main man Skye King. He owns the city of Stroudsburg, PA with another man named Buzz.

The place I am diving from is called Skys The Limit.

Of course pics and all that good stuff shortly.

Rooftop, Drunk idiots, Bish Waitress & Salty Sliders

I had been meaning to check out that new spot. You know - that place you hear people talking about - "you'd love it" "oh it's so great" "cushman shit blah blah blah" etc. etc. etc.

We've all been there, but you take a second and realize that you're hearing this place is "awesome" from your friends you "think" are cool - but also from people you wouldn't be caught dead having a drink with.

So earlier that night, my beloved sister and i took a friend out to eat at Stanton Social (lobster roll sliders and duck empanadas rule) but it got crowded and we weren't really feeling the "wait line" people staring at us while we were nursing our drinks (which I hate btw, but when i'm in their shoes, im totally the same way.) so we said funk it - les roll.

Nunz, H&M & me

So if you're still with me - kudos2u - but ya, back to the point of that "spot." The spot I am referring to is 230 Fifth. I got into an argument with someone on the way there because I thought the place was called "235th" and she said "no no no it's 230."

So whatever, I was wrong - it's cool.

We roll up to the spot, I'm confused because the crowd is mixed, I feel like I'm on a line to get into AER at the Mirage (puahahah for those who know - word~) but anyway - point is it was wierd.

I g2g - more comin.
